A Mystical Journey Through Dreams: The Horse, The Baby, and The Incense:

On the night of September 23, 2020, I embarked on a mystical journey through a series of dreams that left a profound impression on me. These dreams—The Horse, The Baby, and The Incense—were filled with rich symbolism and deep emotions. As I unraveled their meaning, I discovered connections to ancient texts and personal insights that resonate with me. Here, I share the essence of these dreams and their reflections.

Dream 1: The Incense and Cinnamon Sticks

In the first dream, I found myself in a store with my dad, who was shopping for supplies to prepare for a trip. While he browsed one section, I wandered off to another. Despite the distance, I knew my dad had picked up a couple of packages of cinnamon sticks. He combined them into a large plastic bag devoid of a barcode, prompting me to add one of the smaller bags with a barcode to the larger one.

Upon waking, the word “incense” came to mind as I recalled this dream. I felt compelled to look up incense in the Bible, discovering numerous references but not an immediate connection to my dream. However, the cinnamon sticks—mentioned in Revelation 18:13, Exodus 30:23, Proverbs 7:17, and Song of Songs 4:14—seemed significant. Cinnamon, derived from the word Cassia, translates to Hebrew Kiddah, meaning “split.” While the whole meaning eluded me, the symbolism was intriguing and suggested a more profound spiritual context.

Dream 2: The Horse and the Missing Incense

In the next dream, the mystical journey continued. My dad and I were in the woods, reminiscent of a serene swamp from a previous dream. A horse accompanied us, lying down in a large dog bed with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Nearby, the plastic bag with the barcode lay empty, and its contents—cinnamon sticks or incense—were missing. My dad searched for them, asking, “Where are they?”

I instinctively knew the horse was hiding the incense as if playing a game and holding a secret. This playful yet mysterious behavior added layers of meaning to the dream. The horse’s presence and the missing incense felt symbolic of a hidden truth or understanding waiting to be uncovered.

Reflecting on this dream, I looked up the word “horse” in Hebrew, discovering it is spelled “sus” and has roots in the name “Yehoshua,” meaning “God rescues, Yahweh is salvation.” In the Bible, the colt Jesus rode into Jerusalem is a significant symbol. According to Neville Goddards’ lecture “I AM The Vine,” the horse represents one’s understanding, suggesting that the dream hinted at an essential realization or wisdom I needed to embrace.

Dream 3: The Baby and a New Beginning

In the final dream, I was at a campsite where I encountered a former boyfriend holding his baby girl. We talked, and he shared that he had married the woman he dated after me, and they had a baby together. As I held the baby, she woke up and grinned at me with her jet-black curly hair and beautiful smile. I complimented her, feeling a deep sense of sweetness and connection.

This dream evoked feelings of closure and new beginnings. It symbolizes the passage of time and the continuity of life, with the baby representing innocence, potential, and the future.

Reflections and Insights

As I transcribed these dreams months later, the horse and incense stood out prominently. The dreams felt interconnected, each revealing layers of meaning through symbols and emotions. The cinnamon sticks and incense, the proud horse, and the sweet baby all pointed toward themes of discovery, hidden truths, and new beginnings.

Much like the symbols they present, dreams are pathways to deeper understanding. They invite us to explore our subconscious, uncover hidden meanings, and connect with our spiritual selves. Consider keeping a dream journal to uncover your dreams’ symbolism. Recording and reflecting on your dreams can reveal patterns and insights that guide your waking life.

Embark on your own mystical journey by recognizing the patterns and symbols and discovering the wisdom and insights within.
