Mystical dreams and experiences are different for every individual. At least that is the conclusion I’ve come to. There was a time when I thought dreams were supposed to be taken literally. However, as the number of dreams and “mystical experiences” had have intensified, I have a new understanding.
The bible has quite a few verses about visions and dreams. I find myself reading scripture now with a new set of eyes. However, I still don’t understand every word. I believe that the symbolism in scripture is revealed to us as we (God within us) awaken.
“However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed.” Daniel 2:28-2:29.
New Understanding
Believe me, if this didn’t resonate with me on a deep level, if the dreams and experiences weren’t consistent, and if I weren’t able to reflect on the journey and be able to piece moments of my life together, I would not even be writing about it.
I started documenting my dreams and what I consider “mystical experiences” in October 2019. I refer to certain things as mystical when there is no rational, factual reasoning behind them, yet I undoubtedly know they are significant. There is a long list now, so I started a series on my YouTube channel called “Mystical Mondays.”
I share mystical dreams and experiences here on my blog, too, for anyone who chooses to read my posts rather than watch my channel. If you have any experiences of your own you’d like to share, please feel free to leave a comment.
