Doing The Internal Work

Doing The Internal Work

Internal work is necessary for the awakening process. Everyone will awaken, whether in this lifetime or another. When I spoke about this topic on my podcast and YouTube channel, it had been such an interesting week, and I wanted to share. It had been a bit of a challenging week, and one morning I had an epiphany. That epiphany was, “it takes courage to meet the soul.”

As we awaken, we begin to have specific experiences and our views of the world change. It becomes easier to see through the illusions in this third-dimensional reality. When the veil lifts, and we see beyond the illusions, it can bring a bit of isolation or separation. When you’ve had experiences that others have not, it can be challenging to explain those experiences.

I don’t want to go into too many details about what prompted the Podcast episode. However, I had a differing viewpoint from several family members about a particular subject. From my perspective, the differing views had nothing to do with my beliefs about the subject because they are neutral. However, there was a deep, innate knowing that my decision about the subject was right for me. I have done the internal work and gone through ‘the furnaces of affliction.’

My awakening experience happened in early 2019. So, being completely authentic and sticking to my truth without compromising it is necessary. I spent decades doing a lot of internal work so authenticity is important to me. I realize that we are all at different points on our journey in this life. Awakening does not occur all at once for everyone.

There is truth in all truth, meaning one individual’s truth is their truth, but it doesn’t have to be mine. It doesn’t have to be someone else’s, but it doesn’t make that truth any less valid for the individual. Truth is just a perspective, and I’ve often said it on my channel.

The Challenge of Awakening

It can be challenging at times when you have a different viewpoint than family members, friends, mentors, or anybody you have a close relationship with. There is no right or wrong, and you have to be true to yourself. We rise to higher states of consciousness when we do the internal work we need to do and are fully authentic. Once you do the inner work and awaken to who you are, there is an innate knowing that comes from a deep soul level.

That can be difficult to explain and difficult for others to understand. Sometimes it causes a feeling of distance, misunderstanding, or even isolation. No one wants to feel misunderstood, and that’s where courage comes in – the courage of meeting the soul.  Can you be courageous and listen to your soul despite what others think?

Once we do the internal work on ourselves and awaken, we begin to ascend to higher levels of awareness and higher states of consciousness. It’s an ongoing process. Seeing beyond the illusions, having one foot on a third-dimensional plane and the other in a multi-dimensional world is challenging. It’s exciting but it can be exhausting. In Scripture, Jesus states, “I am in this world but not of it.” and that’s how I feel sometimes. I would venture to guess that there are those who have awakened who also feel that way.

At a soul level, I understand now that every experience that we go through gives us a choice of a higher state of consciousness at any given moment. We always have internal work to do. Having seen beyond the illusion and the lifting of the veil, do you stay true to what you innately know now, from a soul level, knowing you’ve done the internal work and can trust yourself from a soul level? I don’t know about you, but my answer to this question is yes.
