Hearing the Sound of Bells

The Sound of Bells

Does hearing the sound of bells ever wake you up? If so, read this.  You may be having a mystical, spiritual experience.  I have woken up to the sound of bells – specifically doorbells, many times. I did not always make note of the experiences but as the mystical experiences have progressed, I have begun to keep track.  If this is your first time here, I experienced an awakening in March of 2018. I have had many experiences since then.

On the night of November 22, 2021, I woke up to hearing the sound of bells, specifically the doorbell, at exactly 4:59 am.  Because I have had this experience so many times, I did not get out of bed.  I fell back asleep and woke to the sound of a doorbell again at 7:00 am.  This was the first time I decided to do some research about ‘bells.’  When I research any of my experiences, I reference the Bible and the Hebrew definition of words.  The Bible was written in Hebrew, which is the language of the Ancient Storytellers, and it is filled with symbolism.

Bells in the Bible

I have been hearing the sound of bells in my sleep since 2018. I also hear knocking and for a very long time, I felt and heard the sensation of wind.  All three experiences are spiritually significant but the sound of a doorbell did not make sense. The word bell is mentioned in scripture in the following verses though.

[Exodus 28:35] The sound of bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord, and when he comes out.

[Exodus 28:33] You shall make on its hem pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material, all around on its hem, and bells of gold between them all around.

[Exodus 39:25] They also made bells of pure gold and put the bells between pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe.

[Zechariah 14:20] On that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses “HOLY TO THE LORD.” And the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the bowls before the altar.

I’ve written another post about two states of consciousness in the Bible; personified by Moses and Aaron.  Aaron wore the robe in Exodus. Now, according to Exodus 28:35, the sound of bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord, and when he comes out.  The Holy place is Jerusalem, which is the mind. When someone goes to sleep, we enter the subconscious mind.  So, hearing the sound of bells right before now makes sense.

Symbolism

In Hebrew, the pomegranate is a symbol of righteousness, knowledge, and wisdom. The word hem in Hebrew in this instance means utterance. You shall make on its utterance (spoken word); righteousness, knowledge, and wisdom are the symbolism in two verses in Exodus. The mystery reveals itself.

Many of my dreams and experiences correlate with scripture.  I don’t always understand it at first but eventually, it makes sense.  Sometimes months, or even years later. I definitely relate to Neville Goddard’s teachings. Although, I don’t recall him ever sharing an experience with hearing the sound of bells.  Music, yes but bells, I do not recall.

When I wake up to hearing the sound of bells now, I ask myself “why am I being woken up?”  Sometimes, I can recall a dream I’ve had but not always.  Now, although most often I’m woken up by hearing the sound of bells, I have heard a phone ringing in my sleep and woken up.
