The people you meet, those within your awareness, and how they act towards you are a direct reflection of your beliefs, assumptions, and inner conversations. So, what type of people do you encounter on a day-to-day basis? How do your friends and family treat you? Do you form opinions of other people based on how they act, what they look like, the things that they say?
Everyone in our awareness behaves in a way consistent with our beliefs and assumptions. If you assume that people are rude, then you will encounter rude people. If you assume that you are well-loved, then you will notice that people love you. Assume someone is always disrespectful towards you, then they will be? That person will be disrespectful towards you.
Change your assumptions about how you are treated, about how people show up in your awareness, and be persistent in that thought. You’ll soon start to notice that people’s behavior will start to conform to your new assumptions about them. It might not happen overnight, but if you are persistent, you will see the change.
